9 Lives for Aldon Smith

Raiders will sign Aldon Smith to 1 year contract.

How many lives does this guy have? He has a talent that seems to have been destroyed due to his off field issues. This guy has 9 lives just like a cat. After a recent face to face with Oakland GM, they decided to give the long time former 49’er a chance. Me personally I believe that he has a bad team around him.

Aldon was released early last month after his run in with authorities and got himself arrested for the 3rd time on DUI. This followed after last years 9 game suspension for violating the leagues Policy on Personal conduct and Substance Abuse. 

Do you think he will do better or do the same old thing and be in trouble with the league again?

Me personally I believe it is the team he has around him.

Who Remembers Titus Young?

Well if you don’t remember him he was an NFL wide receiver for the Detroit Lions. The last couple of years he has been battling legal issues due to DUI, Burglaries, and a hand full of assaults. 

Well Titus has been sentenced to 1 year to a mental health facility and 5 years of probation. Titus received 5 years of probation, because he was awarded 1 year for each person he assaulted during the 2nd month tirade. After evaluating him it was without a shout of a doubt he needed mental help. 

In LA, Young was sentenced on Tuesday for the five batteries that occurred inside of the Augustus Hawkins Mental Health Facility. Among one of the people that was assaulted was Young’s attorney. 

The hits that Young retained from playing the violent gridiron sport has caused some of the mental issues that he is suffering from, says his doctors who have been overseeing him. He will be getting his treatment from the same San Diego facility he will serve his 1st year sentence at. 

Well hope the homie gets better soon and prayers will be up in the air for him and the families affected.  

 

 

College Player Demarius Reed Murdered

 

Sad news today from the college football world. Eastern Michigan university receiver Demarius Reed was found dead in a hallway near his off campus apartment. His roommate found him early this morning. Police say Reed died of a gunshot wound, and his death is being investigated as a homicide. No official word has been released by the school yet. Reed has played for Eastern Michigan for 3 seasons, and was currently in the middle of his best year yet with 15 receptions for 185 yards and a score. He started every game and was the fourth-leading receiver on the squad. He would of had a chance to show his skills for the NFL at the combine next year. Our prayers are with him and his family today. The investigation is ongoing.

First Tee of Baltimore received a large donation

First Tee of Baltimore has been giving an donation of $750,000 from The Caves Valley Foundation & Constellation Foundation.  The money was donated for the funding of a new golf learning center @ Forest Park Golf Course.

The First Tee of Baltimore,  is aimed to enlightening the lives of youth through golf, it reaches all 50 states and 4 countries.  More then 3.1 Million youths participate in the program.
